Operations Specialist (Entry Level)
Location:
Washington, DC (must live within ~10 miles; in-office daily)
Salary: $22/hr - $25/hr DOE + Bonus + Full Benefits

Operations Specialist Description
Our client in the legal document production industry is looking for an Operations Specialist to join their team in Washington, DC. This is a long-term role built to grow-ideal for someone who wants stability, responsibility over time, and real exposure to how a business is run. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will gain exposure to operations, production workflows, customer coordination, and core business functions while helping streamline processes and support day-to-day execution.
Ideal candidates are highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to stay calm in a deadline-driven environment where no two days look the same. To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate reliability, strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in learning the business from intake through final delivery. Operations Specialist Responsibilities
• Support the CEO with daily operational tasks and special projects
• Learn intake-to-delivery workflows and keep jobs moving on schedule
• Answer client calls and coordinate job timing and expectations
• Partner with the production manager to align priorities and deadlines
• Prepare completed jobs for final signoff and billing
• Assist with estimates, invoicing, and credit card payment processing
• Follow up on past-due invoices and support basic AR/AP tasks
• Maintain customer and internal records in CRM and shared drives
• Create and update step-by-step SOPs and training documentation
• Identify workflow gaps and help implement practical improvements
Operations Specialist Qualification
• Bachelor's degree required
• Operations, Project Management, or Customer Service/Support experience required
