The Gist…The Business Process Analyst (Workforce Data, Strategy, and Planning) supports the development of workforce strategy, process engineering, workforce data models, and roadmaps for our federal client. The role works closely with our client to collect, validate, and analyze data through interviews and data collection. The Business Process Analyst will map and model organizational processes, developing business case assessments that document these processes and provide recommendations for future strategy.
Responsibilities- Collect workforce data relevant to business case analysis and assessments, including but not limited to HR data (headcounts, vacancies, retirement/attrition, recruiting, skills), financial data (cost, budget), and interview/survey data.
- Perform maturity assessments and analysis for each organization and make recommendations for business cases.
- Map end‑to‑end processes for current and future state HR processes using Visio or similar technology.
- Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and redundancies, and make recommendations and proposals for process improvements.
- Draft analytical work products, such as business case analysis and process flows, to support the customer with workforce strategy and planning.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders and the contractor team to collect and analyze data, respond to ad hoc requests.
- Work with the data model team to implement findings and recommendations into an integrated data model.
- Communicate insights to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Active CBP Public Trust required.
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in business process analysis, workforce planning, analytics, or process improvement.
- Experience with process mapping tools (Visio, Miro, Lucidchart).
- Experience with workforce data, workforce planning, and strategy development.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and workforce planning frameworks.
- Experience drafting and presenting executive‑level analytical work products and briefings.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills.
- Data analytics and dashboarding experience, preferred.
