The Director of Business Development will oversee strategic initiatives to drive business growth and foster relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders. Responsibilities include identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client accounts, and negotiating contracts to support company objectives. The role involves creating and implementing business plans, managing leads, and providing strategic insights. This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Washington, DC-Baltimore area.
Qualifications- Strong experience and expertise in New Business Development and Lead Generation
- Proven skills in Business Planning and Account Management
- Proficiency in Contract Negotiation and relationship building
- Strong leadership abilities and strategic thinking
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree a plus
- Familiarity with the life sciences or biotechnology industry is highly preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
