The Associate, Program Management and Operations supports projects with Federal government clients to help manage a portfolio of projects including financial, estimating, reporting, business and program analysis. They have 2+ years of experience in program management/operations in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment. They are detail-oriented and can translating complex information into clear reports and recommendations that support leadership decision-making.
This team member would work closely with government stakeholders, program managers, business operations staff, and investment planning teams to monitor program health, track performance, identify risks, and ensure timely reporting across multiple initiatives.
Arc Aspicio is currently operating in a hybrid work environment where work will be performed at client sites, the Arc Aspicio DC office, and remotely - depending on client, contract, and company needs. All candidates must live in the Washington, DC area at time of employment.
Responsibilities- Support program management including program performance reporting, financial tracking, program operations, metrics management, and executive-level reporting
- Review, analyze, and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and performance data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Track, monitor, and report program metrics, key performance indicators, risks, issues and dependencies
- Collaborate with program leadership, business operations staff, and investment planning stakeholders to support portfolio reporting and submission requirements
- Develop narratives, justifications, and supporting documentation for program updates, schedule changes, budget adjustments, and other reporting activities
- Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and briefing materials for client leadership
- Support risk management activities, including maintaining risk registers, tracking mitigation actions, and reporting program risks
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, support decision-making, and improve program performance
- Support governance meetings, working groups, and stakeholder engagements to gather information and provide program support
- Take on new responsibilities and learn the mission/business while maintaining an excellent attention to detail, finding ways to exceed client expectations
- Contribute to company service areas beyond just the project to build new skills and help the company grow by developing our capabilities and selling new business
- Contribute to our company culture, which promotes collaboration, learning, and helping others to grow and develop
- At least two years of relevant experience in program management and operations (and up to four years preferred)
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) required
- Clearance: U.S. Citizenship only (no dual citizenship). Has the ability to obtain and maintain a position of trust or clearance with the Federal government
- Experience supporting program management disciplines such as financial reporting and operations, performance metrics, risk management, and business analysis
- Experience on large, multi-project programs with large organizations (preferably with the Federal government or similar complex organizations)
- Experience developing, analyzing, and reporting program metrics, performance measures, and operational data
- Experience supporting financial management, budget tracking, resource planning, or program reporting activities
- Experience maintaining project schedules, risks, issues, and status reporting artifacts
