We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee high-rise multifamily developments for a leading general contractor. This role is responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate has proven experience managing large-scale, podium-style or high-rise multifamily projects and excels at coordinating teams, budgets, and schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all phases of high-rise multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Develop, monitor, and update project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts.
  • Coordinate with Superintendents to ensure efficient field operations and schedule adherence.
  • Procure and manage subcontractor scopes, contracts, and buyouts.
  • Lead project meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and internal teams.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure accurate project execution.
  • Track change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control requirements, and building codes.
  • Monitor project risks and proactively resolve issues impacting cost, schedule, or quality.
  • Lead punch list completion and oversee successful project closeout.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in multifamily or large-scale commercial construction.
  • Proven success managing high-rise or podium-style multifamily projects.
  • Strong budgeting, scheduling, and cost control skills.
  • Experience with subcontractor negotiation and contract administration.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, safety standards, and building codes.
  • Proficiency with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
