Safety Coordinator

The role involves ensuring safety on construction sites, reporting incidents, and fostering positive relationships with contractors and owners.

• Create a safe work site using skills and knowledge
• Report injuries and incidents to management and follow up with necessary paperwork
• Make unsafe observations and work with Southland staff to make corrections
• Able to communicate well with others
• The ability to run productive safety meetings
• Update management on daily safety observations
• Create positive relationships with General Contractor and Owner
• Always work with a professional attitude and be on sites on time

• OSHA 30
• 1st Aid and CPR
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Concrete Construction, Data Centers, Steel Frame, Precast Construction

• Must have knowledge in Fall Protection, Excavations, Cranes, Rigging Equipment, PPE, Writing Job Hazard Analysis (JHA’s) and Pre-Task Planning (PTP’s)
• Driver’s license required
• Computer knowledge A plus
