Well Suited Talent is partnering with a highly respected Mid-Atlantic General Contractor seeking an experienced Multifamily Estimator to support a growing pipeline of ground-up and renovation multifamily developments across the Washington, D.C. market.

As a Multifamily Estimator
, you will play a key role in pre-construction and project pursuit efforts, working closely with leadership, operations teams, and trade partners to develop competitive and accurate project budgets.

This role offers visibility across the full project lifecycle and the opportunity to influence project strategy from concept through award.

• Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed construction estimates for multifamily projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documentation to develop accurate quantity takeoffs
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing
• Lead scope reviews and leveling of subcontractor proposals
• Participate in preconstruction planning, value engineering, and cost analysis
  
  Develop budgets, GMP proposals, and bid packages
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure estimating alignment with execution strategy
• Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, developers, and internal stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and cost databases

• 5–10 years of estimating experience with a general contractor estimating multifamily projects
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and sequencing
• Experience preparing conceptual and hard bid estimates
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong subcontractor market knowledge in the D.C. region preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
