Senior Construction Inspector

What You Will Do

GFT is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector to join our Construction Services team in the New Carrollton area
. This position will be onsite with the client and is a night-shift role.

What You’ll Be Challenged To Do

• Inspect all phases of highway construction and maintenance projects.
• Oversee, monitor, and independently inspect routine railroad, Amtrak, and/or WMATA updates.
• Measure, test, and check materials, methods, and installations to ensure contractor conformance with plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Document contractor progress daily, input data into automated software systems, and generate reports and correspondence.

Education | Experience

• 10-15 years of construction experience
• High school graduate or GED
• Valid driver’s license

What We Prefer You Bring

• Amtrak and/or WMATA station update inspection experience is a plus

The salary range for this role is $115,000 - $140,000
. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
