We’re partnered with a well-established general contractor in the DC/MD/VA market that’s looking to add an Assistant Superintendent to support active and upcoming projects. This is a hands‑on field role with strong mentorship and a clear path toward a full Superintendent position.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Support the Superintendent with daily on‑site operations
- Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, and deliveries
- Help maintain project schedules and short‑term lookaheads
- Enforce jobsite safety, quality control, and cleanliness
- Track progress, punch lists, and field documentation
- Communicate with PMs, inspectors, and trade partners
- 1–4+ years of field experience with a commercial GC
- Exposure to projects such as multifamily, interiors, mixed‑use, retail, or commercial builds
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site logistics
- Comfortable working full‑time on site
- Motivated to grow into a Superintendent role
- Stable project pipeline in the DMV
- Direct mentorship from experienced Superintendents
- Opportunity to grow with a respected builder
