We are seeking a result-driven senior level estimator with experience in multifamily estimating to be an integral part of our preconstruction team. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience demonstrating a unique ability to perform conceptual, schematic, and design development budgets, detailed cost estimates and delivering quantity take-offs in partnership with the project management and field operations team.

Our new senior estimator will work directly with the Director of Preconstruction, Executive Vice President of Construction, and Business Development teams to provide competitive, thorough project estimates and win proposals while partnering with the operations to complete an effective internal hand off to ensure project success. • Support the Director of Preconstruction, proactively assisting with all aspects.
• Handle multiple projects from time of RFP to bid submission.
• Perform and provide complete, thorough, and accurate take-offs electronically.
• Understand unit pricing through various aspects of construction.
• Actively search for any Value Engineering solutions that can be provided to our clients.
• Create and foster relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
• Seek alternative sources for subcontractors and labor to get the best possible pricing.
• Follow up with all invited subcontractors via phone and email to ensure deadlines are met.
• Manage site walk-throughs and document items seen and discussed when viewing with clients.
• Understand, discuss, and create scopes of work to distribute to subcontractors.
• Qualify sub bids with care to ensure scope of work required is covered within bid.
• Input data into bid forms, create detailed qualifications, and assemble bid packages.
• Managing the RFP process, ensuring maximum coverage in all trades.
