Commercial Construction
Project Manager Requirements & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience
- 3+ years of renovation experience
- 3+ years of preconstruction experience (collaborating with architects and engineers)
- Knowledge of local DC codes and regulations
- Strong understanding of CPM (Critical Path Method)
- Proficiency with Procore and MS Suite
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management skills
- Strong emotional intelligence
- Clear communication for clients, vendors, and co-workers
- Ability to manage multiple projects and many moving pieces
- Expert at keeping schedules tight, budgets on track, and subcontractors aligned
- Solution-oriented and passionate about being in the field
- Motivated to improve processes, take initiative, and grow with the company
Commercial
Construction Project Manager Preferred Background & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Experience with non-profit and mission-based projects
