Self‑Perform Work Superintendent – Division 7

Job Description:

DPR Construction is seeking a Self‑Perform Work Superintendent for Division 7 with at least 5+ years of commercial construction experience.

• Work closely with all members of the project team and supervise all craft employees.
• Oversee, manage, and mentor Assistant Superintendents and Foremen.
• Hire, inspire and grow the craft workforce.
• Objectively and respectfully deal with reductions in force.
• Lead DPR’s Injury‑Free Environment (IFE) Safety Program for this scope.
• Ensure quality of work matches project, jurisdictional and DPR standards.
• Work collaboratively with other trade partners and project teams to ensure optimum production.
• Lead the problem‑solving effort should safety, quality or production issues arise within this scope.
• Professionally represent DPR Field Operations.

• Excellent listening skills and professional communication skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Effective participation in a team environment.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam and Plan Grid.
• 10+ years of hands‑on trade‑related field experience as a journeyman, foreman and/or Superintendent.
• Knowledge of and ability to recruit craft from the local workforce.
• A strong work ethic and a "can‑do" attitude.
