Assistant Project Manager – Project Management / Owner's Representation

We are seeking a talented and experienced design and construction industry professional to join our Project Management / Owners' Representation team as an Assistant Project Manager. This position will primarily focus on managing the design and construction of modernizations and new construction projects.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting project team on large complex projects and assignments.
  • Proactively managing project‑related issues.
  • Assisting in developing scope, budget, and schedule for assigned projects.
  • Participating in and documenting all weekly meetings.
  • Assisting in coordinating and tracking RFP’s; maintaining accurate and consistent electronic files and documentation.
  • Assisting in the coordination of activities of sub‑consultants.
  • Interacting and negotiating with contractors and subcontractors.
  • Preparing/updating project status reports, processing purchase orders and invoices, updating tracking reports, and maintaining files for due diligence and financials.
  • Assisting in providing all deliverables per KRAMER agreements with clients.
  • Demonstrating a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost‑effective manner.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • 2–5 years of experience in construction management, architecture, engineering, or commercial real estate development.
  • Experience supporting project coordination efforts, including scheduling, budgeting, meeting documentation, and project reporting.
  • Ability to assist with maintaining project schedules, budgets, and financial tracking reports.
  • Understanding of technical requirements and specifications for new construction & renovation projects.
  • Owners Representation / Project Management.
  • Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings, furniture plans, and space planning concepts.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced project environment.
  • Proactive mindset with strong desire to learn and grow within Owners Representation / Project Management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, real estate development, or a related field.
  • Experience with Project Team, P6, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Timberline, Auto Cad, or RS Means is preferred.
