Construction Manager – Spencer Ogden
Washington DC. Puyallup, WA – full‑time, on‑site.
Job DescriptionA leading project is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee lighting and mechanical renovations at Boeing's Frederickson Campus. The role is responsible for the entire construction lifecycle — from mobilization through closeout. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing large‑scale industrial renovation projects and ensuring strict adherence to safety, scheduling, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all phases of construction: mobilization, execution, and closeout
- Enforce OSHA safety protocols and site‑specific safety plans
- Manage subcontractors, site coordination, deliveries, inspections, and equipment rentals
- Maintain all project documentation via Procore (RFIs, Submittals, Change Orders, MDS docs, logs)
- Develop and update critical path schedules in Microsoft Project
- Coordinate permit and 3rd‑party inspection requests; ensure regulatory compliance
- Conduct weekly stakeholder meetings; prepare and distribute meeting minutes and daily reports
- Identify and resolve job site issues proactively and professionally
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in construction or project management, ideally overseeing $5M+ industrial projects
- Hands‑on experience with lighting retrofits and mechanical upgrades in occupied facilities
- Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project, and construction document interpretation
- Knowledge of OSHA construction safety standards (OSHA 30 required, OSHA 500 preferred)
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- PMP, CPM, or similar construction/project management certification
- Experience managing site‑specific safety plans and inspections
- QA/QC deliverables across multiple trades
- Project scopes, punch lists, and deficiency tracking
- Coordination with multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines
- Must be able to work onsite in Puyallup, WA
- Flexible schedule; must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours/week, with extended hours as needed
- Ability to travel as required
