Construction Foreman

Project Management:

  • Interpret and execute project blueprints and plans.
  • Monitor project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate tasks and schedules among different teams.

Team Supervision:

  • Oversee and manage construction workers, subcontractors, and tradespeople.
  • Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to workers.
  • Resolve conflicts and address concerns on-site.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct routine safety checks and ensure the use of protective equipment.
  • Report and document any accidents or incidents.

Quality Assurance:

  • Inspect completed work for adherence to project specifications.
  • Ensure the proper use of materials and tools.
  • Identify and address potential problems to maintain project integrity.

Communication:

  • Act as a liaison between workers, project managers, and stakeholders.
  • Report progress, issues, and updates to the project manager.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for the timely delivery of materials.

Documentation:

  • Maintain detailed records of labor, materials, and project progress.
  • Ensure permits and licenses are up-to-date and accessible.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or in a similar supervisory role.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints, plans, and technical documents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in varying weather conditions.
  • Familiarity with project management software is a plus.

  • Time management and multitasking.
  • Attention to detail and quality control.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and legal requirements.

Education and Certification:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Degree or certification in construction management or a related field (preferred).

  • Valid driver's license.

Salary Description $35-$45
