Commercial Construction Senior Superintendent – Multifamily

• Direct project workflow on site consistent with schedule and HITT safety and quality standards.
• Serve as liaison between project team members, promote interests of both business and clients.
• Act as primary leader on site for construction project, communicating priorities to staff and subcontractors.
• Understand and administer HITT safety program for all subcontractors, report and investigate accidents/incidents, assist in safety inspections.
• Maintain HITT quality standards for all project aspects.
• Manage daily logs of activities and site conditions; oversee punch list and closeout process through owner/architect acceptance.
• Work with project manager to formulate schedule, ensure proper methods and sequence of installation, adhere to schedule commitments, maintain quality standards.
• Maintain good relationships with subcontractors, develop community relationships, treat subcontractors fairly.
• Ensure complete, accurate daily documentation of work orders/tickets, avoid unnecessary change orders, identify problems early and provide solutions.
• Develop and organize site team, arrange temporary facilities/utilities, expedite long‑lead items.
• Collaborate with project manager and site operations team throughout project life.

• Four‑year degree in construction, engineering, or business preferred; in lieu of degree, additional work experience acceptable.
• 8-10 years of commercial construction experience, including general contractor, tenant renovations, service work, occupied spaces, weekend work.
• Mastery of building processes and best practices.
• Ability to organize resources—people, tools, time—to meet tight deadlines.
• Project lead or superintendent experience preferred.
• Proficiency in sector/project‑specific software:
  Microsoft Office (Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), Pro Core, Adobe, Blue Beam, OSHA
  30 (preferred).
• Physical ability to walk/stand long periods and lift up to 50lbs.
• Strong communication skills—clearly, concisely, professionally, audience‑appropriate writing and speaking.
• Positive attitude, passion for construction, data‑driven decision making, strategic thinking.
• Organize and manage tasks and priorities; demonstrate integrity and continuous improvement.
• Adaptability to technology, design, methods; collaborate across backgrounds; respectfulness, punctuality, engagement.
