Represent the Owner on Critical Infrastructure Projects

This isn't commercial vertical construction.

As the Owner's Representative
, you'll oversee construction activities across a wide variety of capital improvement projects while helping ensure contractors deliver safe, high-quality work with minimal impact to ongoing plant operations.

We're looking for professionals who understand what it's like to work inside active operating facilities where safety, planning, coordination, and quality are essential to keeping critical infrastructure running.

Responsibilities

Represent the Owner during construction activities on major water/wastewater capital improvement projects.

Perform field inspections to verify construction complies with project drawings, specifications, contract documents, and quality standards.

Inspect work involving structural concrete, civil construction, underground utilities, process piping, HVAC systems, building construction, mechanical equipment, and related infrastructure improvements.

Coordinate daily with contractors, engineers, project managers, and client representatives.

Document field observations, inspection reports, deficiencies, and corrective actions.

Monitor construction progress and assist in resolving field issues while minimizing impacts to ongoing plant operations.

Participate in project meetings and provide technical input regarding construction quality and field conditions.

Support testing, punch list completion, and final project closeout activities.

Qualifications

Approximately 10+ years of experience in construction inspection, construction management, QA/QC, owner's representative, superintendent, or related field leadership roles.

Experience in one or more of the following disciplines:

  • Civil Construction
  • Structural Construction
  • Mechanical Systems
  • Process Piping
  • HVAC
  • Utilities
  • Industrial Construction
  • Water/Wastewater Infrastructure

Experience supporting water/wastewater capital projects, municipal infrastructure, industrial process facilities, manufacturing plants, power generation, or other active operating facilities.

Strong understanding of construction means and methods, construction sequencing, and quality standards.

Experience working within active operating treatment facilities or other mission-critical industrial environments is highly preferred.

Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

No specific engineering degree or certification is required. Relevant field experience is valued more than formal credentials, although construction inspection or QA/QC certifications are considered a plus.

If you're looking for the opportunity to represent the owner on a long-term municipal infrastructure program while working on a diverse portfolio of technically challenging projects, we'd love to hear from you.
