AboutThe Role
As a Superintendent, you'll lead field operations from mobilization through completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality. You'll manage subcontractors, coordinate site activities, and work closely with project teams to successfully execute complex construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily field operations and oversee subcontractors, vendors, and trades
- Maintain project schedules and ensure timely completion of work
- Perform quality control inspections and enforce safety standards
- Coordinate RFIs, submittals, inspections, and project documentation
- Identify and resolve field issues while communicating with project teams
- Lead subcontractor meetings and maintain accurate site reporting
- Ensure projects are completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and quality standards
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or similar field leadership role
- Strong commercial construction experience
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Experience managing subcontractors and complex projects
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Federal government, laboratory, or technical project experience preferred
