Responsibilities
- Work on construction and transportation right-of-way permitting for major infrastructure projects
- Interface between Client Project Managers and third-party regulators
- Proactively address permitting needs and resolve permitting-related issues
- Record data into SharePoint Dashboards
- Review Civil Site Plans
- Review Traffic Control Plans (TCPs)
- Apply for DDOT Construction/Excavation Permits through TOPS database
- Apply for DOEE Approvals through Storm and Groundwater System database
- Apply for DOB Permits through SCOUT and Project Dox database
- Track all permit applications and report to senior management
- Track permit review comments
- Attend regular meetings and document meeting notes
- Coordinate with local government regulators
- Facilitate clear communication between the project team and external parties
- Use analytics for process improvements
- Complete accurate and detailed daily timekeeping
- Communicate with clients during regular business hours when on-site and off-site
- Associate degree in engineering, Data Science, Project Management, Economics, or Construction Management
- 2 years in a detail-oriented work environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Project management skills
- Preferred:
Undergraduate Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Planning, Economics, or Construction Management - Preferred:
Experience managing large datasets in Excel or other database management software, including PowerBI, Microsoft Access, or Microsoft Share Point - Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work regular business hours, 8:00 am–5:00 pm EST
- Accurate and detailed daily timekeeping required
Demonstrates expertise in construction and transportation right-of-way permitting, with strong project management skills and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and regulators. Proficient in data management and analytics for process improvements, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
