Upper Marlboro, MD | Full-Time, In-Office | $26-34/hour

JCM Associates is one of the Mid-Atlantic's leading commercial HVAC and plumbing contractors, based in Upper Marlboro, MD, just 20 minutes from DC. We've delivered mechanical systems for landmark projects including The Wharf (Phases 1 &
2), CFG Bank Arena, University of Maryland's new residence halls, The Anthem, and Catholic University.

The Site Safety Coordinator will:

• Assist team members to recognize and avoid OSHA safety violations
• Provide onsite training on OSHA rules and regulations
• Assist project foreman in developing pre-task planning procedures for a consistent safe work environment
• Perform daily job site inspections to prevent injuries or workplace violations
• Manage and report and injuries or incidents as they occur

• Determined to ensure all team members go home safely each day
• A communicator ready to share and teach how things are done
• Ready to train others on OSHA rules, safety best practices, etc.
• Eager to walk their project looking for opportunities to improve
• Ready to work at a DC Metro Area job site

• 3-5 years of experience in the construction field
• 30 Hour OSHA Certified
• CPR/First Aid Certified

• 1-2 years of experience in a safety coordinator position
• Past experience focused on large-scale commercial construction

• $26-34/hour, plus performance-based bonuses
• 2 weeks paid vacation + paid holidays
