Construction Manager/ Foreman, Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Site Manager
We’re representing a highly respected General Contractor based in Washington, D.C., with a proven track record delivering complex federal renovation projects
. Due to sustained growth and upcoming secured work across the capital region, they are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join their team.
This position offers the opportunity to oversee federal renovation and modernization projects within occupied and secure facilities. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience managing day‑to‑day site operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining compliance with government standards, and ensuring the successful delivery of high‑quality work on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all on‑site construction activities for federal renovation projects.
- Enforce safety, quality, and compliance standards in accordance with federal regulations.
- Oversee scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and progress reporting.
- Manage site documentation, inspections, and quality control processes.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, federal clients, and on‑site personnel.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in federal construction, including renovation work.
- Active QCM (Quality Control Manager) certification – required.
- OSHA 30 certification – required.
- AOC (Architect of the Capitol) badge – highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of federal construction protocols, safety standards, and compliance processes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and deliver projects in secure environments.
- Competitive base salary from $110,000–$150,000
