Project Manager / Senior Project Manager — Structural Steel Construction

Our client, a structural steel fabricator and erector with a growing data center construction portfolio in the Virginia region, is hiring for two Project Manager openings — one at the Project Manager level and one at the Senior Project Manager level. Compensation will be scaled to experience within the posted range.

5+ years of project management experience in structural steel with a commercial contractor.

• Manage structural steel projects from award through closeout, including budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor/vendor coordination
• Serve as primary client and GC point of contact throughout project execution
• Oversee field crews, fabrication timelines, and site logistics for structural steel scopes
• Track project financials and manage change orders

• Experience leading larger, more complex structural steel projects (data center/mission-critical experience a plus)
• Track record mentoring junior PMs or project engineers
• Direct experience managing multiple concurrent projects or larger project teams

• 5+ years managing structural steel projects for a commercial contractor (required)
• Strong understanding of steel fabrication and erection sequencing
• Excellent client and subcontractor relationship management
