This is a full-time, on-site role based in Washington, DC, for a Construction Quality Control Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing and implementing quality control procedures throughout construction projects to ensure compliance with standards, specifications, and codes. Daily tasks include inspecting construction activities, maintaining project documentation, coordinating with contractors and project stakeholders, and identifying and resolving issues impacting quality.
The role requires close collaboration with project teams to ensure deadlines and quality milestones are met.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Construction QC Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Completed USACE/NAVFAC " Construction Quality Management Training (CQM-C)" is preferred
- Prior work experience on Government managed construction projects.
- Proficiency in construction quality control, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in project management, scheduling, and coordination of construction activities.
- Strong attention to detail and expertise in evaluating construction materials and techniques.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with contractors, stakeholders, and team members.
- Problem-solving skills to handle construction challenges and ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Working knowledge of relevant construction codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Previous experience in construction-related quality control roles recommended.
