Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site | Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Company Overview

Our client is a Mid-Atlantic construction management agency providing project management, owner's representation, staff augmentation, land development consulting, and FF&E management. The company serves developers, nonprofits, government agencies, schools, institutions, and large general contractors across the region. Project Managers take direct ownership of their projects, work closely with leadership, and represent the firm directly in front of clients and project stakeholders.

Position Overview

The Senior Project Manager will act as the owner's representative, overseeing multiple active construction projects and protecting the owner's interests throughout the project lifecycle. The Senior PM will coordinate and manage relationships among owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, financiers, inspectors, and other project stakeholders from design development and preconstruction through construction, closeout, building handoff, and warranty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the owner on active construction projects, managing the general contractor and holding work accountable to plan, schedule, and budget
  • Oversee approximately 4–7 concurrent projects at various stages of design and construction.
  • Conduct field inspections and verify that construction is being completed in accordance with design intent, project documents, and owner requirements.
  • Manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, punch lists, and related workflows through Procore
    .
  • Manage vouchers, payment schedules, change orders, and other construction administration processes.
  • Review project schedules, identify potential delays, and understand the schedule and cost implications of those delays.
  • Supervise and deploy Project Managers as required across active projects.
  • Work with clients on the review and preparation of AIA contract agreements
    .
  • Assist with project budgeting, cost estimating, and basic construction takeoffs.
  • Manage the punch list and closeout process with the design and construction teams.
  • Prepare weekly or monthly project reports as required by the client

Projects managed directly by the firm generally range from approximately $1M to $84M in construction value
. The firm may also participate in significantly larger projects alongside major national construction and program management organizations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 6+ years of construction project management experience
  • Experience with project types such as multifamily or affordable housing, schools, colleges/universities, hospitals, institutional facilities, nonprofits, community centers, government, or similar commercial/public-sector construction
    .
  • Advanced proficiency in Procore
    , with substantial hands‑on experience managing RFIs, submittals, punch lists, drawings, project documentation, and related workflows.
  • Working knowledge of AIA contract agreements at a basic-to-intermediate level
    , including the ability to work with clients during contract preparation and review.
  • Working knowledge of construction estimating across the major construction divisions, including the ability to perform basic takeoffs, understand project costs, obtain subcontractor pricing, and coordinate effectively with MEP and other trades.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple construction projects concurrently
    .
  • Strong ability to manage general contractors and coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, inspectors, and other stakeholders.
  • OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain it immediately upon employment.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
Additional Technical Qualifications
  • Microsoft Project
  • Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
  • Spanish language skills for communication with field crews
  • Previous experience in the Maryland, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, or broader Mid-Atlantic construction market.
  • Experience working on large-scale construction programs alongside national construction or program management firms.
  • Professional Engineer (PE), architecture, engineering, or related technical background.
  • Location: Baltimore, Maryland (Washington D.C. Metro Area)
  • Work Arrangement: 100% on-site; no hybrid or remote option
  • Schedule: Full-Time, W-2 | Typically 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
