Assistant Project Manager - Ground-Up Commercial

Salary: $70,000 - $95,000 per year

We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and dedicated individual to join our team as an Assistant Project Manager. This exciting opportunity involves working on ground-up commercial construction projects, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our urban landscapes.

The right candidate will have a strong background in construction, with a particular emphasis on projects exceeding $20M.

• Assisting the Project Manager in planning and execution of ground-up commercial construction projects.
• Coordinating and supervising the construction process from the conceptual development stage through final construction, ensuring that the project gets completed on time and within budget.
• Reviewing and understanding all project documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and budgets.
• Utilizing Procore and Plan Grid to manage project documentation and streamline communication across all project stakeholders.
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
• Conducting site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design, project specifications, and safety protocols.
• Managing and resolving any issues or problems that arise during construction.
• Preparing and presenting project reports and updates to the Project Manager and other stakeholders.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial projects.
• Proven experience with projects exceeding $20M.
• Proficiency in Procore and Plan Grid or equivalent construction management software.
• A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and procedures.
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to resolving issues and challenges.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings, contracts, and specifications.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to various project sites.
