Corporate Safety Manager

E-Logic, Inc. is seeking an experienced Corporate Safety Manager to serve as Key Personnel supporting federal construction, demolition, asbestos abatement, and regulated-material abatement projects. The Corporate Safety Manager will oversee E-Logic's corporate and project-level safety program and serve as the primary safety point of contact with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Safety Office
.

The position will oversee safety activities across multiple project sites, provide technical direction to Site Safety and Health Officers (SSHOs), review and approve safety documentation, oversee accident and mishap investigations, and ensure compliance with applicable USACE, OSHA, EPA, NIOSH, and other federal safety requirements.

The Corporate Safety Manager will establish, manage, and monitor comprehensive safety programs for E-Logic's federal construction and environmental projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with demolition, asbestos and regulated-material abatement, heavy construction, accident prevention, hazard analysis, and federal construction safety requirements.

Travel: Required to federal project sites throughout the Midwest and Northeast

Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
, with flexibility based on project requirements. Periodic travel to active project sites, military installations, and federal facilities is required. Site visits, inspections, investigations, and meetings may require schedules outside normal business hours.

• Lead and manage E-Logic's corporate safety program for federal construction and environmental projects.
• Establish and maintain safety policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Ensure consistent implementation of safety requirements across multiple project sites.
• Provide safety guidance to project managers, superintendents, SSHOs, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Monitor safety performance and implement corrective actions.

• Serve as E-Logic's primary safety point of contact with the USACE Safety Office

• Coordinate with Government safety representatives regarding inspections, deficiencies, corrective actions, and safety documentation.
• Ensure project safety programs comply with USACE EM 385-1-1.
• Support Government inspections, audits, meetings, and safety reviews.

• Develop, review, and approve Accident Prevention Plans (APPs) and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs).
• Evaluate construction activities and work methods to identify hazards and establish appropriate controls.
• Review changes in project scope, sequencing, and work methods for safety impacts.

• Provide technical oversight and direction to SSHOs and other safety personnel.
• Monitor safety performance across geographically dispersed project sites.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
• Verify corrective actions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure required safety training and documentation are maintained.

• Oversee safety programs involving:
• Building demolition
• Asbestos abatement
• Lead abatement
• Regulated-material removal
• Heavy construction
• Hazardous-material activities
• Ensure appropriate controls for fall protection, respiratory hazards, confined spaces, excavation, demolition, and other construction hazards.

• Lead or oversee accident, injury, incident, near-miss, and mishap investigations.
• Identify contributing factors and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare required investigation reports and track corrective actions through completion.

Ensure compliance with applicable:

• ANSI and NFPA standards
• EPA and TSCA requirements
• NIOSH guidance
• Workers' compensation requirements
• Applicable federal, state, and local regulations

Maintain OSHA 300-series records and accurate safety reports, inspection records, training documentation, and corrective-action records.

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Safety and Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Construction Safety, or a related field

• At least 15 years of directly relevant safety experience without a bachelor's degree.
