About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Project Lead to manage key construction initiatives in the George region. This role requires a strategic thinker capable of overseeing all phases of construction projects, from initial planning and resource allocation to final delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring projects meet scope, time, and budget requirements while upholding stringent quality and safety standards.

As a Project Lead, you will play a crucial role in liaising with clients, managing project teams, and mitigating risks, ensuring the successful and profitable execution of all assigned construction ventures, reinforcing our client's commitment to delivering high-quality infrastructure and building solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all aspects of construction projects, from inception through to completion.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and cost estimations.
  • Oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications.
  • Manage relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and collaboration.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues to prevent delays or cost overruns.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience as a Construction Project Lead or a similar leadership role within the construction industry .
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project management principles, and contract administration.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
