A leading heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee water treatment, wastewater treatment, and utility infrastructure projects throughout the Washington, DC area. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in municipal construction and complex infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities- Manage water and wastewater projects from preconstruction through completion
- Oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and procurement
- Coordinate closely with Superintendents and field teams
- Track project costs, change orders, RFIs, and overall project performance
- Review plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Interface with owners, engineers, inspectors, and project stakeholders
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, or Superintendent in heavy civil construction
- Strong experience with water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, or utility infrastructure projects
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Experience managing municipal or public works projects preferred
- Stable pipeline of water and wastewater infrastructure projects
