Construction Superintendent – Washington, D.C. Metro

We are seeking experienced Construction Superintendents to lead field operations for industrial tilt-up construction projects throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

Our projects range in size and include significant sitework. Current and upcoming projects are located along the 66W Corridor, Manassas, VA, Bristow, VA, Rockville, MD, and Upper Marlboro, MD
.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on construction leader who takes ownership of the jobsite and enjoys working with subcontractors, trades, inspectors, and project teams to deliver safe, high-quality projects on schedule.

• Lead and oversee all day-to-day field operations.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, trades, and field personnel.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite.
• Ensure construction meets contract requirements, quality standards, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate site logistics, mobilization, equipment, manpower, and temporary utilities.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to develop and maintain project schedules.
• Prepare and present three-week look-ahead schedules

• Coordinate inspections, testing agencies, and other project stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, site documentation, work orders, and tickets.
• Identify potential issues early and implement practical solutions.
• Monitor subcontractor scope and help minimize unnecessary change orders.
• Lead punch-list activities and project closeout.
• Build strong, professional relationships with subcontractors and project partners.
• Enforce company safety and quality‑control policies throughout the project.

• 10+ years of construction experience
  , preferably in commercial/industrial construction.
• Strong field leadership and jobsite management experience.
• Experience with tilt-up construction and sitework preferred
  .
• Solid understanding of construction scheduling, manpower, equipment, and contract administration.
• Experience working for a large commercial contractor or comparable organization.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and construction safety requirements
  .
• Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  
  Ability to coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors effectively.
• Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related degree is preferred but not required
  .
