Overview
The Washington Examiner is a political news organization based in Washington, D.C. We are looking to hire a digital-savvy, driven journalist to join our team as a Copy Editor. If you're a recent graduate, with experience in a college news outlet who really wants to be in Washington D.C., then this is the job for you.
RequiredExperience and Skills:
- A minimum of two years' experience in digital news editing and/or production, or experience on a news/copy desk for a college news outlet
- Keen eye for and attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of AP style
- Must be based in the DC/DMV area or willing to move
- Dynamic newsroom atmosphere
- Walking distance to Metro
- Business casual dress
- Flexible hours to promote work-life balance
