Are you passionate about inspiring young minds through the art of dance? Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center in Washington, D.C. is seeking a dedicated High School Dance Instructor to join our team. At LTYC, we are committed to nurturing the creative talents of our youth and providing a supportive environment for growth and learning. As an instructor, you will have the opportunity to shape the next generation of dancers and foster a love for the performing arts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance instruction, a love for working with high school students, and a commitment to excellence. Join us in making a difference in the lives of young dancers and help them discover their potential through the power of movement. Responsibilities:
• Create engaging and dynamic lesson plans for high school dance classes
• Implement effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive learning environment
• Choreograph and teach dance routines that cater to the skill levels of high school students
• Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their dance techniques
• Organize and oversee dance performances and events showcasing the students' talents

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience teaching dance to high school students
• Proficient in various dance styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, and hip hop
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans
• US work authorization Compensation: $30 - $35 hourly
