This is a part-time, on-call position in the DC area for a General AV Technician (GAV) specializing in events and conferences. The GAV Technician will be responsible for delivery, setup, strike of audio visual equipment, including sound systems, projectors, lighting, and video conferencing technologies. Responsibilities include ensuring all equipment functions smoothly, resolving technical issues promptly.

• Proficiency in Basic Audio Visual (AV) systems
• Must know how to set up audio, projection, screens, tv's, drape
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly adapt
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment
• Previous experience working in a Hotel or Convention Center (minimum 1 year)
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are an advantage
• Clean Driving Record
• Lives within 15 miles of our Rockville Office
