Founded in 1920, Akerman is recognized as one of the country’s premier law firms, with more than 700 lawyers throughout the United States. The firm is seeking a Creative Services Manager to work under the direction of the Senior Creative Services Manager. The Creative Services Manager will help design, revise, and produce internal and external digital and print materials with an emphasis on using AI to deliver innovative solutions to complex design issues and enhance the effectiveness of the Firm’s business activities and client development.
Job Responsibilities- Provides design support to the Senior Creative Services Manager
- Utilizes AI in design projects
- Under supervision of the Senior Creative Services Manager, produces electronic and printed materials including branding, brochures, invitations, newsletters, presentations, publications, signage, tribute ads, pro bono projects, and photo editing
- Assists in research and helps select gift/promotional items for clients, recruiting and firm events
- Actively liaises with photographers, printers, apparel and other vendors as directed
- Assists with organizing and maintaining project files online
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Extensive experience and understanding of using AI in design, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva, Leonardo, and others
- Extensive knowledge of PC design software, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
- Knowledge of HTML and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with web-based design and high‑tech media; ability to learn new software skills
- Understanding of typography, layout/composition, and image manipulation for effective graphic design and visual communication
- Ability to work within design standards/guidelines
- Ability to elevate concepts into high‑end, elegant design solutions
- Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
- Familiarity with technological aspects of design and vendor relations
- Ability to specify and coordinate production of printed and digital materials
- Ability to create precise mock‑ups and clear project presentations
- Strong initiative and capacity to work in a demanding, professional environment
- Capacity to follow direction on creative input and alternate concepts to improve product and process
- Ability to interact with attorneys and staff at all levels
- Professional demeanor and client‑service orientation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Full‑Time;
Monday – Friday (Hybrid)
The firm’s anticipated hiring range for this position is $80,000 - $105,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including position, geographic location, education, training, and experience.
