Job Description

Account Managers are results-oriented individuals with the primary responsibility of “owning” the full life cycle of NCDR and Accreditation accounts including, but not limited to, corporate/health systems, vendors and individual accounts. Customer inquiries stem from a wide variety of communication channels, such as phone, email, internal mail, FTP, internet and fax.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the full life cycle of an account via Salesforce (CRM), including but not limited to the execution of participation agreements and invoicing
  • Responsible for the setup of client accounts via NCDR and Accreditation Services proprietary software
  • Analyze contracts to ensure compliance with form contracts as well as coordinate activities with management and/or Contract Administration when presented with contract language required by local/state/federal/international laws
  • Manage high value client accounts
  • Maintain systems and procedures for tracking account status of all client, health system and vendor accounts
  • Lead business-critical tasks and projects, such as annual renewal processes
  • Provide expert customer support via calls and emails from prospective and existing participants and vendors, and assist other staff in resolving account related issues
  • Responsible for all administrative tasks associated to the creation and maintenance of all client accounts, such as copying, data entry, file management and faxing
  • Supports users and other application support activities as needed
Qualifications
  • High school diploma plus minimum 8 years relevant experience or Bachelor’s Degree plus minimum 3 years relevant experience
  • Experience with Salesforce or equivalent Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Strong Microsoft Office and PC knowledge
  • Comfortable consulting and collaborating with representatives from a wide variety of functional areas to resolve issues and improve service/delivery
  • Ability to work effectively with entry-level through executive-level customers and staff
  • Work effectively in a team-oriented environment, yet capable of working/thinking independently as well
  • Strong initiative, resourcefulness, and a passion for providing superior service with a proven customer service track record
  • Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Aptitude to learn new technologies
  • Strong decision‑making abilities
  • Positive attitude
  • Type a minimum of 45 WPM
  • May travel once a year to support annual education conference
Desired
  • Experience supporting web‑based applications is a plus
  • Experience with contracting processes, as well as standard contract language is preferred
  • Experience working with an Association Management System (AMS) is a plus, ideally Fonteva.
