You are a discerning, detail-driven interior designer with an unwavering passion for luxury kitchen design. Ateliers Jacob DC, located in the heart of Georgetown, is the East Coast flagship design studio of Montreal’s premier cabinetry atelier. Our work is rooted in a designer-first philosophy, offering meticulously crafted, custom cabinetry that embodies both artistry and innovation. We partner with a clientele that demands excellence—curating kitchens and interiors that are timeless yet forward-thinking, and always executed with uncompromising craftsmanship.

We are expanding our team and seeking an accomplished Kitchen Designer who brings vision, rigor, and a refined design sensibility to help shape extraordinary spaces for our Washington, D.C. market.

Responsibilities
  • Develop modern, innovative kitchen and bath design concepts for residential projects.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to transform their vision and goals into exceptional, functional designs.
  • Produce detailed technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and specifications.
  • Oversee and coordinate project execution to ensure quality and design integrity.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in modern kitchen and bath design, with direct client interaction and sales experience.
  • Proven ability to learn from past challenges, adapt quickly, and embrace continuous growth.
  • Strong creative vision with a refined eye for contemporary, innovative design.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and team members.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Vectorworks, Sketch Up, or other CAD programs.
