Overview
Perkins Eastman designs for people. Our Human by Design ethos means that we design to enhance the human experience and leave a lasting and positive impact on people’s lives and the world we inhabit. Our annual fellowship sponsors a creative individual who is interested in investigating connections between wellness and design in the built environment. We welcome candidates from disciplines including but not limited to architecture, urban design and planning, interior design, design research, and environmental psychology.
The fellow will work with in-house researchers, architects, and sustainability professionals to study how the built environment measurably impacts the quality of our daily lives and promote why design matters. This is an in-person, paid fellowship. The selected fellow may work in Perkins Eastman’s studios in New York or Washington, DC.
Explore the connection between design and wellness, with the goal of communicating the value of good design to a general audience.
