Architect III (Residential + Select Commercial Projects)
Georgetown, Washington, DC
Full-Time (following 3-month introductory period)
We are a small Georgetown studio doing residential and select commercial projects where the budgets allow real thought: proportion, detailing, materials, light, and longevity.
If you’re the kind of architect who notices everything — and wants to work where those observations matter — keep reading.
You’ll join a collaborative team of 8–10 people working on high-end homes and thoughtfully designed workplaces, in a studio culture built around manageable hours, meaningful responsibility, and work that rewards careful thinking.
About the StudioOur studio is a boutique interior design and home furnishings firm based in the heart of Georgetown, Washington, DC. We work across high-end residential interiors, architectural collaboration, and curated antiques, serving clients who value thoughtful design, craftsmanship, and deeply personal homes.
The principal leads the firm as a highly collaborative interior designer whose work is closely connected to our home furnishings business. In addition to design services, the studio imports European antiques and develops contemporary atelier pieces, allowing us to bring a layered, collected perspective to every project.
Our office sits in a rare Georgetown building that offers both parking and an open, airy studio environment overlooking the Potomac River and the historic C&O Canal district.
We intentionally remain small. Our goal is to operate as a close-knit team of people where collaboration is natural, and everyone has meaningful visibility into the work.
We value a culture that accommodates the whole person. We believe great design comes from people who have full lives, and we strive to maintain manageable working hours and a sustainable pace.
At the same time, we are a performance-driven studio. Our compensation structure is designed to reward high contributors and top producers, creating clear opportunities for growth and recognition within a supportive environment.
The OpportunityThe firm is in a period of thoughtful growth, and we are seeking a candidate who brings meaningful experience and is ready to contribute at a high level. This is an opportunity to join a small, established studio at a moment of expansion and play a meaningful role in shaping its next chapter.
We work on high-end residential homes as well as select workplace and commercial projects with clients who value thoughtful design and beautifully executed details.
