Med Star Medical Group Anesthesiology, part of Med Star Health, which has the largest employed anesthesia group in the Maryland and Washington, D.C., region, has an Anesthesiologist opening at Med Star Southern Maryland Hospital Center in Clinton, Maryland, located about 30 minutes south of D.C.
Our care team model consists of a close-knit, highly skilled group of Physicians and CRNAs that work well with surgeons and OR staff, producing a collegial environment and a wonderful place to work.
We offer a bread-and-butter case mix that includes GYN, podiatry, vascular, ENT, ortho (good amount, plus regional), cysto, colorectal, general surgery, spine, pain management, robotics, L&D, and some peds (Dental). Call schedule consists of 4 weekdays per month and 1 weekend (Sat or Sun) per month.
Responsibilities- Provide anesthesia services as part of Med Star Southern Maryland Hospital Center, with a case mix that includes GYN, podiatry, vascular, ENT, ortho (including regional), cysto, colorectal, general surgery, spine, pain management, robotics, L&D, and some pediatrics (Dental).
- Collaborate with surgeons and OR staff to maintain a collegial environment and high-quality patient care.
- Maintain the established call schedule: 4 weekdays per month and 1 weekend (Sat or Sun) per month.
- Hiring range of $565,000 - $595,000.
- Premium base salary, plus competitive bonus and incentive.
