Hematology​/Oncology Physician

Facility in Prosser, WA seeking Outpatient Hem Onc locums coverage Pay rate: $hr depending on the availability and experience. Opportunity Highlights

Schedule:

Work 3-4 days per week on an 8-hour shift schedule (8 AM - 5 PM, flexible).

• Outpatient-Focused:
This is an outpatient clinic role. No infusions, BMT, or breast oncology cases are required.

• Manageable Patient Load:
See an average of 8-12 patients per day.

• Supportive Environment:
Work alongside an onsite physician and NP, as well as RNs and Medical Assistants.

• EMR System:
The facility uses Cerner Community Works, with the assistance of AI charting. Onboarding must be completed one week prior to the start date.

• Quick Credentialing:
Hospital credentialing takes approximately 30 days.

• Solo Practice:
We are looking for a provider who is comfortable working independently in a smaller setting.
Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care in an outpatient clinic setting.

• Manage a patient load of 8-12 patients per day.

• Work collaboratively with the onsite support staff.
Provider Requirements

• Board Status:
Board-Eligible in Hematology and/or Oncology is required.

• Licensure:
An active Washington State license or IMLC is required to begin the credentialing process. The facility will consider licensing a candidate.

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of procedure/case logs is required.

• Commitment:
Must have weekly availability.
Start Date

• The target start date is November 10, 2025, or as soon as credentialing is complete. The contract duration is 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension until a permanent candidate is found.
