Sidwell Friends School is seeking track and field assistant coaches for both the winter and spring track seasons in the school year. The Assistant Coach position will be responsible for assisting the head coach in organizing the Track and Field program.
Responsibilities- Promote and create a positive team culture.
- Develop fundamental skills of the game.
- Enthusiastically participate in running practices to support the head coach.
- Maintain a high standard of integrity in all aspects of team management.
- Foster a culture that promotes Quaker values and the academic experience of the student.
- Integrate school core values as the framework from which to coach.
- Approach coaching with thoughtful, innovative thinking and a desire for constant improvement.
Qualified candidates will possess at least one (1) year of relevant track and field coaching experience at the high school, club and/or college level. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. Coaching positions are campus-based and require in‑person coaching.
Positions Available- Varsity Associate Head Coach – Boys
- Varsity Associate Head Coach – Girls
- Varsity Assistant Coach – Jumps (High jump, Long Jump, and Triple Jump)
- Stipend $2,675.00-$12,840.00; stipend will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
