Customer Experience Coordinator, D.C. United Summer Camps (D.C. & Maryland):

Join Headfirst Professional Sports Camps as a Customer Experience Coordinator for D.C. United Summer Camps located in the Dски. & Maryland area. D.C. United Camps deliver summer soccer experiences that kids can’t get at any other summer camp. Designed for ages 5‑13, campers learn the game, celebrate D.C. United traditions, and feel the magic of being part of the D.C. United family.

Each day blends soccer joy, Match‑Day moments, and unforgettable memories—all designed with intention. Campers build confidence, form friendships, and get exclusive access to the energy, history, and culture of theعليم.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Schedule Monday‑Friday 7:15 am‑3:45 pm (time commitment includes pre‑camp training and all weeks of programming)
  • Compensation $19 per hour with up to 2.5 overtime hours per week paid at 1.5× rate
  • Required Certification:
    In‑person/hybrid Adult and Pediatric First Aid & CPR Certification, or ability to complete before May 30
  • Camp dates & locations:  (locations may change weekly; all staff must have reliable transportation)
  • Phone‑free and nut‑free working environment
  • Extended employment opportunities:
    Goal‑scoring, Passing & Dribbling, and Goalie small‑group lessons Monday‑Friday 3:15‑4:00 pm (paid at $43.75 per lesson)
  • Serve as a leadership presence on site, owning family communication and contributing to daily decision‑making alongside fellow site leaders
  • Act as the primary point of contact for families through phone, email, and in‑person interactions, building trust and familiarity throughout the week
  • Communicate clearly, calmly, and professionally with parents, responding promptly and supportively
  • Capture photos and short videos of daily camp activities (following safety and privacy guidelines) to help families feel connected
  • Manage family accounts and accurately document conversations and inquiries using Hub Spot and League Apps
  • Collaborate closely with Headquarters and site leadership to resolve issues and deliver consistent, high‑quality service
  • Anticipate small details that may impact a camper or family’s experience and proactively problem‑solve
  • Share relevant updates with fellow site leaders to support smooth daily operations
  • Represent the D.C. United and Headfirst with warmth, clarity, and professionalism when interacting with families, campers, and partners
  • Communicate safety or behavior concerns to parents in a timely, calm, and solution‑oriented manner
  • Address additional responsibilities as needed to support a positive, high‑quality camp experience
  • Completed at least two years at an accredited undergraduate institution or equivalent educational experience
  • Coursework or experience in communications, customer service, education, sport management, marketing, hospitality, youth programs, or related field preferred
  • Comfortable communicating with families in person, over the phone, and in writing
  • Organized, detail‑oriented, and responsive
  • Friendly, calm, and confident when handling questions or concerns
  • Enjoy working with children and contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Adaptable and patientാപ്പ with strong problem‑solving skills
  • Dedicated to the camp’s mission, program quality, and a supportive team environment for the full camp season
  • Possess or able to obtain valid CPR/First‑Aid certification prior to the start of camp
  • Able to remain upright and standing for multiple hours at a time, walk and/or run quickly around large outdoor grass and dirt‑covered fields, and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of sports equipment
  • Committed to adhering to and enforcing the D.C. United Summer Camp cell‑phone‑free policy, powering down and putting away cell phones during your shift
