We are also looking for candidates who are interested in provide after school support. This is an excellent opportunity for those who are looking for part-time work with a flexible schedule: 2+ Days / Week from 2:30 - 6:00 PM.

Get support from your dedicated Scoot Education Consultant who matches you to school assignments to align with your skills, experiences, and interests. Get 1:1 check-ins to discuss school feedback, general questions, training opportunities, and career planning.

Many of our consultants have previous teaching experience and will share best practices and offer practical advice. They are just a phone call away for any questions or concerns.

$160 - $200.Pay will vary for day-to-day assignments and is typically more for long-term placements.

• Bachelor's degree, associate's degree or college credits
• Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor
• State & federal background checks

• Passion for education and putting students first
• An empathetic nature, a growth mindset, and a drive to be the best you can be
• Have a teaching credential/certificate or 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit
• Have previous experience in special education settings
• Are bilingual and/or have bilingual teaching experience

• Supervise and support students in the classroom, playground, or cafeteria
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. Encourage student engagement and participation throughout the day Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions, following any lesson plans left by the teacher
• Communicate clearly with school staff
• Leave brief notes or feedback for the returning teacher
• Sitting, standing, and walking, and able to lift up to 30 lbs while safely assisting students
• Observe and communicate across varied environments, incl. indoor and outdoor settings
• Additional role requirements will be in the handbook and shared during the interview process
