Summary: The Functional Consultant provides initiative management guidance and functional expertise to support high-impact organizational projects. This role conducts detailed research and analysis to inform decision‑making, manages high‑complexity initiatives, and ensures that all deliverables meet established quality and compliance standards.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide initiative management guidance to support program and project objectives
• Manage high‑complexity projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and contractual requirements
• Conduct detailed research, data analysis, and functional assessments to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
• Develop reports, recommendations, and business documentation to support leadership decision‑making
• Ensure product and deliverable quality through thorough review and validation processes
• Monitor compliance with regulatory, contractual, and organizational standards

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong expertise in business process analysis and re‑engineering methodologies
• Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills
• Ability to influence and advise senior leadership
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Engineering,
• Business, or related field
• PMP/DHS mid-level PM (or equivalent)
• Minimum 6 years of experience OR 5 years with a Master's degree or higher
• Ability to pass employment background check and obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)

Pay Range: $50.00 - $55.29 per hour
