Summary: The Functional Consultant provides initiative management guidance and functional expertise to support high-impact organizational projects. This role conducts detailed research and analysis to inform decision‑making, manages high‑complexity initiatives, and ensures that all deliverables meet established quality and compliance standards.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Functions:
- Provide initiative management guidance to support program and project objectives
- Manage high‑complexity projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and contractual requirements
- Conduct detailed research, data analysis, and functional assessments to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
- Develop reports, recommendations, and business documentation to support leadership decision‑making
- Ensure product and deliverable quality through thorough review and validation processes
- Monitor compliance with regulatory, contractual, and organizational standards
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong expertise in business process analysis and re‑engineering methodologies
- Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills
- Ability to influence and advise senior leadership
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Engineering,
- Business, or related field
- PMP/DHS mid-level PM (or equivalent)
- Minimum 6 years of experience OR 5 years with a Master's degree or higher
- Ability to pass employment background check and obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
Pay Range: $50.00 - $55.29 per hour
