Overview

Are you a proactive supply chain professional who thrives at the intersection of technical understanding and supplier strategy? We’re seeking a Sourcing Category Manager to lead supplier performance, drive sourcing initiatives, and partner closely with engineering and operations to support new product and process development.

• Guide suppliers through the full onboarding lifecycle—from quote evaluation through production readiness.
• Resolve delivery or technical issues by applying structured problem‑solving and cross‑functional coordination.
• Develop improvement plans that strengthen cost, lead time, capacity, and overall supplier reliability.
• Build strong vendor partnerships, including performance reviews, capability assessments, and long‑term alignment.
• Collaborate with engineering, R&D, project teams, and operations to support sourcing decisions and component development.
• Contribute to category strategy that supports innovation, customer growth, and business continuity.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in supplier management, technical sourcing, vendor development, or related functions.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand mechanical or electrical components.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and commercial teams.
• A continuous‑improvement mindset with strong analytical and relationship‑building skills.
