Auria is looking to hire an Electrical Engineer - Radio Frequency / Spectrum. This role is remote in the Washington, DC Metro Area. This team specializes in designing next-generation communication systems and software for advanced RF communication networks. We are seeking experienced and innovative engineers to join our dynamic team and work on complex and exciting challenges.
Responsibilities- Apply Radio Frequency (RF) engineering principles to analyze performance.
- Contribute to spectrum management, satellite registration, and RF network design.
- Conduct modeling and simulations for wireless communication systems.
- Utilize communication theory, link budgets, and electromagnetic principles in system analysis.
- Develop and use software tools to analyze co-frequency sharing between wireless networks.
- Support algorithm development, validation, and documentation of analytical tools.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (Consideration given to candidates with degrees in Computer Engineering, Aerospace, or Physics with relevant experience).
- Experience: 3+ years in RF engineering or related fields.
- Clearance: Secret Clearance or higher required.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Experience with RF design, antennas, wireless communications, and signal processing.
- Familiarity with FCC, ITU, or NTIA system registration processes.
- Proficiency in performance analysis and optimization of RF networks.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including probability, statistics, linear algebra, and algorithm development.

- Experience with high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, and implementation methodologies.
- Knowledge of spectrum-sharing algorithms, analysis tools, and validation methods.
The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $85,500 - 97,000
