Overview
BC Building Science seeks a Building Science Consultant- EIT to join our successful team. The main role involves field review services for new construction.
What we expect from you- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Master’s degree in building science preferred.
- Be registered, or eligible for registration, as an engineer-in-training (EIT) in BC.
- Minimum one-year of building envelope experience.
- Experience with local construction methods and materials.
- Interest in rope access certification would be considered an asset.
- Skilled in technical writing and have excellent communication skills – written and oral.
- Excellent team player.
- Creative thinker with high attention to detail.
- Review building envelope aspects of the construction of new buildings.
- Provide enhanced field review, and field performance testing services.
- Collaborate with the energy and commissioning services team.
- Maintain communication and correspondence with related parties including Developers, Contractors, and Architects.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Salary range: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
