OverviewWe are seeking a highly hands-on Senior Unified Communications (UC) Engineer to support a mission-critical government environment. The ideal candidate must have proven end-to-end experience deploying Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) from scratch in VMware ESXi environments, not just supporting existing systems .
Responsibilities- Deploy and support VOIP phones, including CUCM, Call Manager, SCCP, MGCP, and analog-to-voice solutions.
- Deployand manage CUCM in VMware ESXi (installation, clustering, provisioning)
- Configure SIP/SCCP phones and MGCP gateways
- Support analog-to-voice integrations (FXO/FXS)
- Perform network optimization for voice (QoS, latency, jitter)
- Manage VMS, Zebra devices, and Qube licensing
- Troubleshoot complex UC issues and maintain documentation
- 7+ years of network engineering experience.
- Expertise in CUCM, VOIP, Call Manager, Call Gateway, SCCP, and MGCP.
- Experience with ESXi and network optimization.
- Familiarity with Zebra configuration, VMS, andQube Licensing.
