Naval Engineer - Clearance Required

Job Description:

Cydecor is seeking a Naval Engineer to provide support to a Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) customer. There are several openings spanning junior to senior positions.

This role will support the analysis and design of products and machinery.

Candidates should possess strong engineering fundamentals, as well as expertise with surface and undersea shipbuilding programs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Apply the theories and principles of science and mathematics to research and develop economical solutions to technical problems.

• Design products and machinery.

• Implement improved ways to extract, process, and use raw materials, such as petroleum and natural gas.

• Develop new materials that both improve the performance of products and take advantage of advances in technology.

• Analyze the impact of the products developed or the systems designed on the environment and on the people using them.

Here's what you need:

• Senior: 10+ years of experience in Navy Shipbuilding and Defense Systems. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

• Mid-Level: 4+ years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

• Junior: 1+ years of relevant experience.

Bonus points if you have:

• Senior: 15+ years of experience in Navy Shipbuilding and Defense Systems. Master's degree in Engineering or related field.

• Mid-Level: 7+ years of relevant experience. Master's degree in Engineering or related field.

• Junior: 4+ years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

• Professional Engineer License.

• DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process).

Security Clearance: DOD SECRET

Education:

• Senior: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. Experience in Navy shipbuilding and defense systems.

• Mid-Level: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

• Junior: N/A

Work Schedule:

M-F, Onsite

Compensation and Benefits:

The anticipated compensation range for this position is $82,000 - $200,600. There are numerous factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the role, work location, education/certifications, and a contract's Labor Categories.
