Electrical Engineering & Computer Science​/Patent Agent​/Offices

Polsinelli is seeking a patent agent to join our Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Patent Prosecution Practice Group.

Position open to any Polsinelli office with a strong preference for Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta, Denver, Houston, St. Louis, or Kansas City offices.

• High level of academic achievement
• Solid law firm, engineering, or industry experience
• Superb writing and communication skills
• 2+ years of relevant experience in patent preparation and prosecution
• Degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, or physics
• Admission to the USPTO is required

• Patent prosecution in electrical engineering or software-related technologies
• Experience with machine learning/artificial intelligence/neural networks
• Telecommunications (e.g., 5G, 6G, etc.)
• Autonomous driving
• Radio frequency (RF) circuitry
• Hardware and/or communications security (e.g., encryption/decryption)

• Salary range: $140,000 – $250,000, depending on experience
