About the Role
HC Solutions Group is partnering with a highly respected structural engineering consulting firm in the Baltimore area to identify a Structural Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a career engineer to gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of structural projects and work alongside experienced engineers on technically challenging designs.
This role offers hands on structural analysis and design experience across multiple building types including residential, commercial, and large scale mixed use developments. Engineers in this environment work closely with architects, contractors, and project teams to deliver innovative structural solutions.

The firm provides services including structural design, parking structure consulting, forensic engineering, structural investigations, and building remediation.

Responsibilities- Perform structural analysis and design for building structures using steel, concrete, masonry, and wood
- Assist with preparation of structural calculations, drawings, and construction documents
- Utilize design and modeling software to support project design and documentation
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical input during design development
- Assist with structural evaluations, site visits, and construction phase support
- Support senior engineers and project managers in delivering projects on schedule
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis
- 3+ years of structural engineering experience in the United States (opportunity for various experience levels)
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design principles
- Experience designing with steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Experience with structural analysis software such as RAM, RISA, STAAD, Multiframe, Tedds, or Enercalc
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with project teams
- Professional Engineer license or progress toward licensure
- Experience working on commercial or mixed use building projects
- Exposure to forensic engineering, structural investigation, or remediation projects
